When the federal law was expanded to require childcare for federal workers, the GSA was contracted by the Corps of Engineers to provide a day care facility for the children of Corps employees. Ramtech was selected to design and construct the modular building and to provide for all the site development. The contract was awarded on a 15-year finance lease.

NAS, China Lake, CA

Ramtech was awarded a contract to design and construct a 30,000 sq. ft. permanent modular daycare facility for the K-6 grade children of all civilian and military personnel on the base. The design criteria required non-loaded corridors and a complex mechanical misting system for each playground area to combat the harsh desert heat. The contract was awarded on a 60-month finance lease plan.
